Tower Records reports that Sphere's new album, "Third Planet", is number 1 in sales among Anime Albums for the week!
What is more impressive is that the album is #1 on the Oricon daily rankings and #3 for the weekly Oricon chart, selling 21,163 units in the first week! The limited edition version of the album, featuring a Blu-ray disc with the PV and live footage, has already sold out! The previous week's top Anime album, Masami Okui's "Love Axel" was 43rd on the Oricon weekly chart, selling 2,131 units in the first week.
Here are some of the tunes on the album:
Non-Stop Road - OP from Natsuiro Kiseki (which was a fun series, BTW)
This version starts out with the instrumental intro, then switches to acapella and demonstrates the vocal excellence of the group very well.
