I thought this was awesome. What are the odds of running into such a rare animal while on a hike? Not very good. This guy is looking to have both run into a wolverine and have a functioning camera at hand to get the shot. Good find, sir!

That is pretty crazy, I didn't know there were any wolverines that far south. Even in the northern regions where there are healthy populations almost no one ever sees them.

The little guys sure know how to hide. Can't blame them, given how too many people have a shoot first mentality when confronted with the unknown.

Oh wow, that's awesome! It's amazing what you can find when you go out on a hike somewhere. I like to go to parks around here, but I don't see anything really exotic, just rabbits, squirrels, birds, frogs, and deer.

The only animals I get to see are kangaroos, sheeps and horses...

It's not that they are great at hiding, or people shoot them, they just have gigantic ranges. Something like one male and 2-3 females in 200 square miles.
