You know, even thought Mizuki-san (and Murein with his camera) missed the first half, he drew it right. That's pretty much exactly how it went. I was doing good for about the first half hour, then I slowed down to a crawl.

Ha ha, very funny, Cirno. I can't blame Kogasa-san for mixing up the dates; I don't really think about time zone differences while I'm traveling, beyond making sure I set my watch. My cell phone sets itself, and my laptop sets itself after I connect it to the Internet. On that note, I can't remember if I chanced the time zones back on it after I got back from my last trip. Hmm...

Today, Kogasa-san gets a gift...

Oh yeah, the gift of corn. To supply a little context for this one:

I put E-mouse up to doing this to perpetuate an old tradition from a forum he and I used to go to. Corn was an well respected meme there, and it became kind of a rallying point for us during IRL meet-ups. At one meet-up (Otakon 2003, I think?), one of our members brought cans of corn and passed them out. So a friend and I took them and started bartering with them in the artists alley for sketches, and later with cosplayers for their props, trying to outdo each other with the stuff we got.

So I figured I might as well direct Mus to offer one to Mizuki as a continuation of this fine tradition.

We were struggling not to laugh too hard; Sola was having a hard time explaining the gift to Mizuki-san. Don't know why E-Mouse was drawn as Momiji, though. He was cosplaying as Chen. I was there as Momiji at the time, so maybe Mizuki-san's memory was a little off.

I had no idea Mizuki-san was so sad about leaving us! I was with Kilga watching everyone's stuff in the game room, since I had no desire to eat food after taking on the challenge burger the previous night. Hopefully we'll get another chance to bring Mizuki-san over to the US.
