I am not sure if anyone of you have heard of Nihei Tsutomu. 3 years ago, I was totally ignorant of this name until I read one of his works "Blame!" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blame! and it completely blew me away. The style of his art and story is unique and captivating. After Blame!, I continued searching and reading his other works and eventually now awaiting "Knights of Sidonia" which is ongoing at the moment.
